Good things that have happened today

there have also been bad things but screw them

  • I MIGHT be getting a puppy!!!!!!!!!!! eeeeeee 

okay there aren’t as many good things as I thought, but the second good thing is such a good thing it counts for a whole list. Going to see a puppy tomorrow to possibly get! Probably not tomorrow straight away but just to see if we like her. I really wanted the boy puppy but he’d already gone by the time I rang, but how nice does Madge and Millie sound?!?!

got a nice notebook for english today for only £2.50, which is pretty good seeing as most notebooks that size these days are like £8 and have hardly any paper in, but this one’s really thick and it’s perfect for my wider reading work cos my main text is The Duchess of Malfi and the extended metaphor throughout the play is the Duchess as a bird in a cage, so it’s perfect :)

just bought this, despite being extremely poor and I shouldn’t have but it was reduced down to £14.40 and I had just enough over my minimum amount so it’s the last thing I can buy like ever until I (hopefully) get a job fingers crossed the one I applied to yesterday cos that would be amazing but oh well. it’s pretty ^.^ hopefully it’ll suit me, it’s iffy cos I need an empire line and while this is kind of that, the cinched in bit goes down to the waist so I’m not sure how it’ll look, but I’m picking it up in store saturday so I’ll just try it on there and if I don’t like it I’ll just return it there and then, no harm done :)

This was the real success though! I know it looks like a mess, I forgot to take a picture of it when it was whole but I made an amazing baked macaroni cheese with ham and onions in it. My mum and sister (who are on a diet) smelt it and ditched their diet dinner, and we all ended up having seconds and thirds till it was all gone. We’re all well pooched now but omg it was so worth it <3
